On April 27, 2015 Jeff Roehm, Founder and President, Passed Away

Jeff has owned and served as President of Enterprise Flasher Company since 1975. The Company is pleased to be able to celebrate 40 years of service this year to the Highway Road construction efforts and Highway Safety needs of the region. Enterprise has been a Regional leader in providing state of the art products and services to state governments in an effort to keep the traveling public safe when traveling thru highway construction and work zones. Many of the highway products currently used by DelDOT for their own maintenance work and in construction projects were introduced and brought to the local market by Enterprise Flasher Company.

During Jeff's career he always performed a great deal of volunteer work starting in 1980 when he served as Chairman of the Delaware Contractors Association Trade Show followed by terms on the DCA Board of Directors and the DCA Executive Committee.

He became involved as a committee member with the DFRC Blue Gold All Star Golf Tournament in 1987 which he has continued to support. (Delaware Foundation for Reaching Citizens with Intellectual DisABILITIES). In 2007 he was recognized as a Founding Member of the Blue Gold Golf Classic for his efforts.

In the early 80's he became involved with the National Trade Group for the Industry, ATSSA (the American Traffic Safety Services Association). His volunteer efforts with ATSSA lasted over 15 years. Through those years Jeff served as a Committee Member, Regional Director, Division Vice President and Division President, Chairman of the Education Committee, National Vice President and National President, Co-Founder of the ATSSA Foundation, President of the Foundation and the youngest recipient of the Prestigious ATSSA Pioneer of the Year Award.

During this same period he served as the Industry Representative on the Board of Directors for the TRIP (The Road Information Program) based in Washington DC.

Locally Jeff became involved with ASHE (The American Society of Highway Engineers) as a charter member of the Delaware Chapter and served as Chapter vice President and President in 1995 and 1996. As President he was instrumental in creating the ASSHE Scholarship Program which gives aid to Engineering Students at the University of Delaware. During his term as Chapter President the chapter received both the Gene Smith Award and the George Hart Award., both recognizing increases in Chapter Membership. At the time, Delaware was the only Chapter to ever receive both awards with in the same year. In 1996 Jeff was the first recipient of the First State Chapter ASHE Outstanding Service Award.

During his career he has also served several years on the Board of Directors for the Delaware Chapter of ARTBA (The American Road and Transportation Builders Association).

Since ending his most active volunteer work he continues to be involved with DFRC, as well as working with The Limen House in Wilmington on the annual Golf Outing. He also serves as a member and committee member of DEED (Delawareans for Environmental and Economic Development.)

In a different arena Jeff is also the founder and State Liaison for Chronic Pain Anonymous, a National 12 Step program working to improve the lives of those suffering the effects of Chronic Pain and Illness.
